About Me
Dr. Lea Ann Lope is a pediatric ophthalmologist and Physician Faculty at LECOM Seton Hill, specializing in eye care for children and adults with strabismus. She diagnoses and treats a variety of pediatric eye conditions including amblyopia, strabismus, cataracts, and tear duct disorders. Dr. Lope provides clinical services at The Hartman Eye Group in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and performs surgeries at Independence Health Frick Hospital in Mount Pleasant.
Board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Lope is a member of several professional organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She completed her fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Children’s National Medical Center, following an ophthalmology residency and a medical internship.
Her prior experience includes serving as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she practiced at children's hospitals. Dr. Lope is committed to offering comprehensive ophthalmologic care for young patients and adults with complex eye alignment issues.
