Dr. Lawrence Gipson

Dr. Lawrence L. Gipson, FACS is a Board Certified Eye Surgeon who focuses on comprehensive ophthalmology. He performs a wide range of procedures including LASIK, diabetic laser treatment, eyelid surgery, glaucoma filtration surgery, and SLT laser for glaucoma. Dr. Gipson also provides routine eye examinations and offers contact lens and eyeglass prescriptions for patients of all ages.

Dr. Gipson earned his undergraduate degree in Botany from Andrews University and received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed an internship at Montefiore Hospital University of Pittsburgh and an ophthalmology residency at Eye and Ear Hospital University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Gipson holds hospital staff privileges at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School and Monongahela Valley Hospital. He serves as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons.
