Dr. Lauren Imbornoni

Dr. Lauren M. Imbornoni, MD is a board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist and adult strabismus specialist who cares for children of all ages and adults with eye misalignment. She provides comprehensive, family-centered care for conditions such as amblyopia, pediatric cataracts, and tearing disorders, and uses age-appropriate exams to help anxious or nonverbal children feel at ease. Dr. Imbornoni partners closely with parents and primary doctors so families understand each diagnosis and every treatment option—whether glasses, patching, office procedures, or surgery. An Arizona native, Dr. Imbornoni earned her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona Department of Ophthalmology & Vision Science and advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the University of Colorado. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and she is committed to kind, evidence-based care that helps children and families thrive.
