About Me
Dr. Lauren A. Dalvin is an ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in ocular oncology. She evaluates and treats intraocular tumors, including uveal melanoma, retinoblastoma, and vitreoretinal lymphoma, and helps patients navigate diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term follow-up. Her goal is to protect vision when possible while delivering thorough, compassionate eye cancer care.
She also collaborates with cornea specialists and oculoplastic surgeons for ocular surface and orbital tumors, including conjunctival melanoma, and works closely with a multidisciplinary team that may include medical and radiation oncologists, radiation physicists, interventional radiologists, and ophthalmic geneticists. In addition to her clinical work, she mentors trainees and participates in clinical and translational research that advances the field of ocular oncology. Patients can expect clear communication, coordinated specialty care, and attention to both medical needs and quality of life.
