Dr. Laura Heinmiller

Dr. Laura Heinmiller is a board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist at Children's Minnesota. She provides comprehensive eye care for children and also treats adults with eye muscle disorders. Her clinical practice encompasses a wide range of pediatric eye conditions, including routine eye exams, cataracts, glaucoma, tearing, and genetic eye disorders. Dr. Heinmiller is deeply committed to optimizing each child's visual development to help them reach their full potential.

She completed her medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University Sidney Kimmel Medical College and then undertook an internship in internal medicine at Lankenau Hospital. Dr. Heinmiller subsequently completed her ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
