About Me
Dr. Lance Ferguson is an experienced ophthalmologist practicing in Lexington, Kentucky, specializing in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and comprehensive eye care. He offers advanced treatments including LASIK and lens replacement surgery. With over three decades in practice, Dr. Ferguson has performed tens of thousands of ophthalmic procedures, including more than 50,000 cataract surgeries.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Ferguson is actively involved in the training of ophthalmology residents and lectures nationally and internationally. He has also authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles. He recently completed his term as President of the American College of Eye Surgeons and continues to serve on advisory boards.
Dr. Ferguson has been recognized as a Fellow of the Society for Excellence in Eye Care and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
