Meet Dr. Kris F Gillian

Kris F. Gillian, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist serving patients in the Atlanta area. He has been practicing since 2001 and offers a range of surgical and medical eye care services. Dr. Gillian specializes in premium implant cataract surgery, LASIK, glaucoma treatment, macular degeneration management, eyelid surgery, and pterygium removal. He also provides care for diabetic eye disease as part of his comprehensive practice.

Dr. Gillian earned his undergraduate degree from Emory University and his medical degree from the University of Arkansas. He completed a medical internship at the University of Tennessee and an ophthalmology residency in Pittsburgh. During his training, he participated in a surgical mission in Samara, Russia. Dr. Gillian is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology, and he is affiliated with Piedmont Clinic.
