About Me
Dr. Kira Segal is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. She offers both reconstructive and aesthetic care, with an approach that emphasizes careful planning, natural-looking results, and patient comfort throughout the process.
Dr. Segal’s practice interests include eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty and ptosis repair), brow lift procedures, treatment of thyroid eye disease and correction of bulging eyes, reconstruction after Mohs surgery, management of eyelid malposition, and evaluation of tearing disorders. She also cares for conditions such as facial nerve palsy and anophthalmic socket concerns, and she offers non-surgical injectables when appropriate. Dr. Segal graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, earned her M.D. from Weill Cornell Medical College, completed ophthalmology residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine, and completed subspecialty fellowship training at the Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan.
