About Me
Dr. Kevin P. Pikey is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Sabates Eye Centers in Kansas City, specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of cataracts and glaucoma. He has participated in multiple clinical studies related to glaucoma management and has extensive experience in glaucoma filtration surgery.
Dr. Pikey completed his medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and pursued advanced fellowship training in glaucoma at Devers Eye Institute and Casey Eye Institute at Oregon Health & Science University. He is actively involved in teaching as an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology and has lectured extensively on glaucoma management.
Dr. Pikey is dedicated to mentoring medical students and serves as a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, where he contributes to instructional courses at their annual meetings. His clinical focus is on providing comprehensive care for patients with cataracts and glaucoma.
