About Me
Dr. Sorensen is an ophthalmologist serving patients in the Kitsap Peninsula region. He provides a wide range of eye care services, including treatment for cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, and macular degeneration. He has extensive experience performing ophthalmic microsurgical procedures, including no-shot, no-stitch, small incision cataract surgery. Dr. Sorensen also has proficiency in ophthalmic plastic surgery.
Dr. Sorensen completed his medical degree at Loyola University and pursued his ophthalmology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and National Naval Medical Center. He served as chief of ophthalmology at multiple military facilities and later joined Kitsap Eye Physicians. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
