About Me
Dr. Kenneth Chang is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the founder and director of Eye Doctors Hawaii. He specializes in advanced cataract surgery and provides diagnostic expertise and medical management for a wide range of visual complaints. Dr. Chang has additional subspecialty fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology, which focuses on visual disorders related to the brain.
Raised in Kaneohe, Dr. Chang attended UC Berkeley for his undergraduate education and returned to the University of Hawaii for medical school. He completed his residency at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and then went to Harvard for his fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology. He remained on faculty at Harvard Medical School for seven years, teaching microsurgery techniques and authoring several publications. Dr. Chang also holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins and an MBA in healthcare finance from Wharton.
Dr. Chang is dedicated to engaging patients in the decision-making process to foster confidence and promote the best outcomes for healthy vision.
