About Me
Dr. Kenneth I. Resnick is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous. He earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 1981 and completed his ophthalmology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in 1985. Dr. Resnick then pursued a fellowship in retinal and vitreous disorders at the Cullen Eye Institute at Baylor College of Medicine, where he deepened his expertise in retinal surgery.
After his training, Dr. Resnick joined the full-time faculty of the Eye & Ear Infirmary at the University of Illinois, conducting research and teaching retinal surgery to residents and fellows. In 1991, he established Retina Associates, a practice dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of retinal and vitreous conditions. Dr. Resnick is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
