Dr. Kathryn Childs

Dr. Kathryn Childs is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing treatment for a range of medical and surgical eye conditions. She completed her medical education at SUNY Downstate Medical College and her ophthalmology residency at New York Medical College, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Childs has held academic and leadership positions, including Associate Director of Ophthalmology at Lincoln Hospital and Assistant Professor at Cornell University Medical College. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. After spending time in Montclair, she chose to live and practice medicine in the community.
