About Me
Dr. Kathleen DeHorn is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical retina care, with nearly 15 years of experience. Her practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases using state-of-the-art techniques including advanced imaging, laser therapy, and intravitreal injections. Patients can expect comprehensive management of conditions such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. DeHorn has been serving the communities of Kalamazoo, Portage, and Grand Rapids for almost ten years, following five years of practice in Cooperstown, New York. She completed her medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, her residency at William Beaumont Hospital, and her medical retina fellowship at Duke University. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists, and has contributed to research through publications on retinal diseases.
In her personal time, Dr. DeHorn enjoys golfing and spending time with her three children.
