Dr. Julie Sturm

Dr. Julie M. Sturm is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. She provides comprehensive eye care, with expertise in refractive and LASIK surgery, refractive cataract implant surgery, corneal disease, and glaucoma. At The Eye Center, she has performed over 25,000 cataract, LASIK, and other eye procedures.

Dr. Sturm has been involved in clinical research and FDA clinical trials examining new lens technology and ocular side effects of medications. She has lectured on dry eye treatments and advised on advancements in intraocular lens technology. She serves as President of The Eye Center and Medical Director of the Florissant Surgery Center.

Dr. Sturm is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the Missouri State Medical Association, and the St. Louis Ophthalmologic Society. She is on the medical staff at Christian Hospital and SSM St. Joseph Hospital.
