Dr. Julia Carter

Dr. Carter is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of South Florida, serving as Chief Resident, followed by an additional year of fellowship training in glaucoma at the same institution.

At Center For Sight, Dr. Carter treats general ophthalmology patients in addition to her glaucoma specialty. She works closely with her glaucoma patients to develop effective treatment plans to maintain and protect their eyesight, and she values building long-term relationships with her patients.

Dr. Carter earned her medical degree from the University of South Florida, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Collier County Medical Society, and the Florida Society of Ophthalmology.
