Dr. Juan Pablo Fernandez de Castro is an American board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon at Beraja Medical Institute in Coral Gables, Florida. He specializes in cataract refractive surgery and anterior segment diseases, offering the latest technology in cataract, glaucoma, and pterygium surgery. After graduating from medical school at Universidad El Bosque in Colombia, he completed fellowships in Molecular Ophthalmology and Ocular Pathology at the University of Iowa, followed by an internship in General Surgery and an Ophthalmology residency at the University of Louisville.
