Dr. Juan Ayala-Haedo

Dr. Juan Ayala-Haedo is an oculofacial and cosmetic plastic surgeon with over 17 years of clinical experience. He joined MedEye Associates in March 2021, bringing a wealth of expertise in surgical and non-surgical treatments of the eye and surrounding structures. His practice encompasses a comprehensive range of ophthalmic services, including vision correction, cataract surgery, and the management of complex eye conditions.

He earned his Medical Doctorate from the National University of Asuncion School of Medicine in Paraguay, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He then pursued advanced studies at the University of Miami, completing a Ph.D. focused on gene-environmental interactions in ocular diseases and a Master of Public Health degree with a focus on promoting bioethical research in developing nations.
