Dr. Joseph Alsberge

Dr. Joseph Brooks Alsberge is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a deep connection to the Pacific Northwest, having been raised in Seattle and educated in Portland. He completed his medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City and advanced his training through an ophthalmology residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship in San Francisco.

He specializes exclusively in diseases of the retina and vitreous, offering both medical and surgical management for conditions like exudative (wet) macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal vascular disease, retinal detachment, macular hole, and epiretinal membrane. His practice is dedicated to providing precise and compassionate care for these sight-threatening issues.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Alsberge finds balance through music, cooking, outdoor activities, and travel, which enrich his approach to patient care.
