About Me
Dr. Joseph Brooks Alsberge is a vitreoretinal surgeon who cares for adults with medical and surgical conditions of the retina and vitreous. He treats age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal vascular disorders, retinal detachment, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes. In clinic, he emphasizes education and clear communication so patients understand their diagnosis and options, and he partners with them to choose therapies that fit their goals and lifestyle. He earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and completed an internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center.
