Dr. Jonathan Rho

Dr. Eugene Rho is an ophthalmologist at Carolina Cataract & Laser Center in Raleigh, specializing in cataract surgery, astigmatism correction, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and glaucoma management. He provides comprehensive ophthalmic care with a focus on restoring vision and improving quality of life. Dr. Rho earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Tennessee and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida. His commitment to ophthalmology was sparked during medical school when he created a documentary on cataracts, witnessing firsthand how delicate surgery could restore sight, independence, and joy. Outside the clinic, Dr. Rho enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, cooking, and discovering local cuisine.
