Dr. Jonathan Joseph

Dr. Jonathan M. Joseph is an ophthalmologist at Joseph, Swan & Sellers Eye Center. He believes that quality, compassion, and understanding are key to long-lasting patient relationships, and he strives to incorporate these elements into his medical practice to ensure patient satisfaction.

Dr. Joseph has been involved in community eye care initiatives, including volunteering at the Lafayette Community Health Clinic and providing eye care and preseason screenings for athletes at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1988 to 2015. He has also lectured on topics such as cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease. Additionally, he has volunteered with Eye Care of America, providing senior services since 1991 and glaucoma services since 1995.

After completing his medical degree at Louisiana State University Medical School and residency in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University at New Orleans, Dr. Joseph became board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1990. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of several professional societies.
