Dr. Jonathan Prenner

Dr. Jonathan L. Prenner is a retina specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon caring for patients in New Jersey. He treats a wide range of retinal conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and retinal detachments. Dr. Prenner offers advanced surgical and laser treatments such as vitrectomy, scleral buckling, and intraocular injections.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Prenner serves as Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and is actively involved in clinical research. He has been the Principal Investigator for numerous international clinical trials evaluating new treatments for retinal diseases.

Dr. Prenner is board certified in ophthalmology and maintains special interests in complicated retinal detachment, secondary intraocular lens surgery, and wet macular degeneration. He sees patients at multiple locations including Bridgewater, Lawrenceville, Monroe, and New Brunswick.
