Dr. John Dugan

Dr. John T. Dugan II is a board-certified ophthalmologist who focuses on surgery of the anterior segment of the eye. He provides treatment for conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and corneal disease, offering minimally invasive cataract surgery and surgical management for these eye conditions. Dr. Dugan is dedicated to helping patients maintain and improve their vision through advanced surgical techniques.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Dugan has been active in organized medicine, having served on the executive boards and as president of the Nueces County Medical Society and the Texas Ophthalmological Association. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Refractive Surgery, and the Castroviejo Cornea Society. Dr. Dugan joined Coastal Bend Eye Center in 2020, where he works alongside colleagues Dr. Jack Sahadi and Dr. Jacob Moore.
