About Me
Dr. John S. King is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. He completed his medical and surgical retina-vitreous fellowship at the University of Rochester Eye Institute, where he trained in the latest techniques for treating complex retinal conditions. Dr. King's residency in ophthalmology was completed at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, following a traditional internship at Saint Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh. He earned his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and his undergraduate degree from Rhodes College.
As a retina specialist, Dr. King provides comprehensive care for conditions affecting the retina, macula, and vitreous. He is dedicated to helping patients with eye diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and other vitreoretinal disorders. Dr. King is committed to offering personalized, evidence-based care to his patients in Little Rock and the surrounding areas.
Dr. King is an active member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retinal Specialists. He stays current with advancements in retinal medicine to provide the most effective treatments for his patients.
