Dr. John Au

Dr. John Au is a board-certified ophthalmologist practicing at Kaiser Permanente in Vacaville, California. He believes in forming partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes and chose a career in medicine to make a positive difference in people's lives. As an eye doctor, he has the privilege to help maintain eye health and even restore sight to patients.

Dr. Au embraces the philosophy of healthy living and preventive medicine promoted at Kaiser Permanente. Having grown up in Sacramento, he is happy to be serving the Northern California community as an ophthalmologist. He completed his ophthalmology residency and fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic after medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University and an internship at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
