Dr. Joel Eichler

Dr. Joel D. Eichler is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical diseases of the vitreous and retina. He provides care for patients with conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachment. With a focus on advanced retinal and vitreous treatments, Dr. Eichler offers both medical management and surgical interventions.

Dr. Eichler is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the George Washington University Medical School. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he now serves as a Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology. He has been in practice since 1993 and is a member of the Retinal Society of New Jersey.
