About Me
Dr. Jocelyn Kuryan is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataracts and corneal and external disease. She is an expert in cataract surgery and laser vision correction, providing advanced care for patients with these conditions.
Dr. Kuryan completed her medical education at the Temple University School of Medicine and her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with honors from both. She then served as chief resident during her ophthalmology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Kuryan is dedicated to medical education, having served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Montefiore Medical Center, where she was awarded Surgical Attending of the Year. She also participates in medical missions, providing eye care in Mumbai, India, to victims of human trafficking.
