About Me
Dr. Jill Wells is a board-certified ophthalmologist at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University specializing in ocular oncology and comprehensive ophthalmology. She has been practicing since 2009 and focuses on the diagnosis and management of eye tumors, including ocular melanoma, while providing adult comprehensive eye care and performing cataract surgery.
Dr. Wells completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, where she served as chief resident. She also completed an ocular oncology fellowship in 2011 and currently serves as director of the Eye Center Fellowship Program in Ocular Oncology and Pathology at Emory. She is an associate professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Emory University School of Medicine.
Patients can expect thorough care for eye tumors, comprehensive eye examinations, and cataract surgery evaluation. Dr. Wells is actively involved in training future ocular oncologists and maintains professional memberships in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Society of Ocular Oncology.
