Dr. Jill Carmody

Dr. Jill Carmody is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon providing complete eye care for patients of all ages. Her practice includes comprehensive annual eye examinations and focused problem visits. She specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and dry eyes, utilizing the latest advancements in ophthalmic technology.

Dr. Carmody completed her ophthalmology residency at the New England Eye Center/Tufts Medical Center and her medical internship at Harvard’s Mount Auburn Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and serves on the medical staff at Newton-Wellesley Hospital as the Quality and Safety Champion for Ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New England Ophthalmological Society.
