About Me
Dr. Marc Leibole is an ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive eye care, refractive surgery, and the treatment of cataracts and anterior segment diseases. After graduating summa cum laude from Northwestern University, he earned his medical degree and a master's degree in ocular immunology from Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at St. John's Mercy Medical Center and his ophthalmology residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where he received the Arthur Rosenbaum Research Prize for outstanding research.
Dr. Leibole provides a full range of eye care services, from routine exams to advanced surgical procedures. His clinical interests include LASIK and other refractive surgeries, cataract surgery, and the medical and surgical management of conditions affecting the front of the eye. He is on staff at Newton Wellesley Hospital and Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary.
As a member of several national ophthalmology societies, Dr. Leibole stays current with the latest advancements to offer his patients personalized, high-quality eye care. He welcomes patients seeking evaluation for vision correction, cataract management, and general eye health.
