Dr. Jhansi Raju

Dr. Jhansi Raju is an ophthalmologist and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Loyola University Chicago. She serves as Chief of Ophthalmology at Edward Hines VA Hospital, providing comprehensive eye care to veterans and the community. Dr.

Raju's research includes a patient-reported outcomes study on cataract surgery to improve surgical outcomes, and she has published on the impact of dry eye disease on visual function after LASIK. She is committed to using data and technology to enhance patient outcomes and increase access to eye care, with research interests in quality improvement, value-based healthcare, and artificial intelligence. Dr. Raju has completed several big data studies using the Veterans Health Administration network, the largest integrated medical system in the country. She is also involved in medical education, developing a professional development curriculum for medical students at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine.
