About Me
Dr. Jeffrey Rapkin is a board-certified ophthalmologist with expertise in retinal diseases. He provides care using the latest advances for conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal detachment. He also treats retinal vascular diseases, including complications from hypertension, circulatory problems, and inflammatory conditions.
Dr. Rapkin completed his medical education at the Medical College of Wisconsin and his ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital, where he served as chief resident. He then pursued a fellowship in surgery of the retina and vitreous at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. With over two decades of experience practicing in Muncie and Richmond, Indiana, he remains involved in research and the development of state-of-the-art eye treatments.
