Dr. Jeffrey Nelson

Dr. Jeffrey Lynn Nelson is a board-certified ophthalmologist who cares for patients at Deen-Gross Eye Centers. He helps patients address common and complex eye concerns—from vision changes that may benefit from updated lenses to eye diseases that require ongoing medical management—and he performs surgical procedures, including cataract surgery and laser vision correction.

Dr. Nelson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame and completed medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine. He then completed residency training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In addition to evaluating and treating eye disease, he works with patients to explain options clearly and develop practical plans to protect long-term vision and eye comfort.
