Dr. Jayati Sarkar

Dr. Jayati Sarkar is a board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon specializing in advanced cataract surgery, corneal conditions, glaucoma, and dry eye therapy. Her practice utilizes premium intraocular lenses and laser technology to provide personalized surgical and medical eye care.

She completed her ophthalmology residency at Weill Corneal Medical College/New York Presbyterian Hospital and a corneal fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Sarkar previously served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College and as an Attending Ophthalmologist at New York Hospital Queens.

Her initial medical training was completed at premier institutions in India, including undergraduate medical education at Jawaharlal Institute of Post Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) and an ophthalmology residency at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Dr. Sarkar is dedicated to patient education and comprehensive eye care.
