Dr. Jay Patel

Dr. Damian Berezovsky is a neuro-ophthalmology specialist who helps adults with vision problems related to the optic nerve, brain, and nervous system. He partners closely with neurology, neurosurgery, and general ophthalmology to uncover the cause of symptoms such as sudden vision loss, double vision, or visual field changes, and he guides patients through testing and treatment with clear explanations. His approach emphasizes careful examination, judicious use of imaging, and coordinated care plans that fit each person’s needs. Dr. Berezovsky completed medical school at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, neurology residency training at the University of New Mexico, and advanced fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology at Emory University. He also trained at Emory University Hospital with additional fellowship experience in ophthalmology. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he welcomes referrals for second opinions and works to provide timely access for complex neuro-visual disorders so patients can return confidently to work, driving, and daily life.
