About Me
Jason H. Peragallo, MD, is an ophthalmologist who cares for both children and adults with complex eye movement and vision problems. His clinical work focuses on pediatric ophthalmology, adult strabismus, and neuro-ophthalmology, with an emphasis on evaluating and treating strabismus that can be related to neurologic disease.
Dr. Peragallo also has a special interest in caring for children with neuro-ophthalmic conditions and in helping patients navigate visual symptoms connected to disorders such as idiopathic intracranial hypertension. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology and biochemistry at Brandeis University and his medical degree at New York University. He completed ophthalmology residency training at New York Medical College and a fellowship at the Jules Stein Eye Institute/UCLA in pediatric ophthalmology, bringing a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to diagnosis and treatment planning.
