About Me
Dr. Valerie Biousse is a neuro-ophthalmologist at Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She specializes in diagnosing and managing disorders of the optic nerve, visual field defects, and eye movement abnormalities. Her clinical practice focuses on adult neuro-ophthalmology, helping patients with complex vision problems that have underlying neurological causes.
In addition to patient care, Dr. Biousse conducts research on idiopathic intracranial hypertension, the use of advanced imaging for neuro-ophthalmic diagnosis, diagnostic errors in neuro-ophthalmology, and ocular manifestations of cerebrovascular diseases.
