About Me
Dr. Jason Gilbert is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery with advanced intraocular lens implants, including multi-focal, accommodative, and toric options. He also treats glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Gilbert has over 20 years of experience in eye care and serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Gilbert's approach emphasizes one-on-one patient relationships and providing the latest proven techniques in a compassionate setting. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center, where clinical and surgical skills were a focus, and earlier pursued an internal medicine internship at Beth Israel Hospital.
