About Me

Jamie Alexander, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Cornea Associates of Texas who focuses on the medical and surgical care of the cornea and anterior segment. She is known for a warm, collaborative style and for taking time to explain each diagnosis and treatment option so patients can make confident decisions. Patients see her in the Dallas and Plano offices for vision correction, cataract solutions, and advanced corneal procedures.

Dr. Alexander graduated summa cum laude in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California and earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, where she was elected to AOA. She completed ophthalmology residency at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA and a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute (University of Colorado). Recognized by Newsweek among the "175 Best Ophthalmologists in the United States," she was also named Best in Collin County by D Magazine in 2025.
