About Me
Dr. James H. Miller Jr. is a retina specialist and surgeon with over 30 years of experience serving patients in the Knoxville, TN region. He earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed a vitreoretinal disease and surgery fellowship at West Virginia University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Miller is board certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds an academic affiliation as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine.
Dr. Miller provides expert care for a wide range of vitreoretinal conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and other disorders of the retina and vitreous. He has been practicing with Southeastern Retina Associates in Knoxville since 1990 and sees patients at multiple locations throughout the region.
