Dr. James Shipp

Dr. James Shipp is a trusted ophthalmologist serving north Mississippi as the proud owner of Mississippi Eye Consultants. A native Mississippian, he grew up in Corinth and is dedicated to providing top-notch eye care to the community.

Dr. Shipp completed his medical education at The University of Mississippi Medical School and then pursued an ophthalmology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he served as Senior and Chief Resident. He further honed his skills at the Augusta Eye Clinic in Augusta, Georgia, from 2012 to 2014.

Outside of work, Dr. Shipp enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and outdoor activities. He is married to Dr. Lyndsay Shipp, a dermatologist, and they have four children.
