Dr. Jacob Martin

Dr. Jacob S. Martin is a pediatric ophthalmologist who also cares for adults with strabismus. He enjoys partnering with families to explain diagnoses in plain language, outline options, and choose treatments that fit each child or adult’s goals. His clinical interests span the full spectrum of pediatric eye care—from routine refractive needs to complex conditions—and he welcomes patients at many stages of life, including premature infants.

Dr. Martin treats pediatric cataracts, tear duct obstruction, and retinopathy of prematurity, and offers surgical care such as strabismus surgery and pediatric cataract surgery when needed. For adults with eye misalignment, he provides comprehensive evaluation and modern surgical and nonsurgical management aimed at improving comfort, function, and quality of life. He completed medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, followed by ophthalmology residency and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus, along with prior fellowship training in ocular pathology.
