Dr. Ivan Lee

Dr. Ivan Lee is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of vitreoretinal diseases. His expertise includes managing complex retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, macular pucker, macular holes, secondary intraocular lens placement, floaters, and ocular inflammations.

Born in South Korea and raised in Southern California, Dr. Lee earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and his medical degree from the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the West Virginia University Eye Institute and a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at The Ohio State University. He is actively involved in clinical research and has authored peer-reviewed publications on retinal surgery and disease outcomes.
