About Me
Dr. Ivan G. Castillo is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal surgery and medical retina care. His motto, "Let's stamp out blindness," guides his approach to diagnosing and treating eye diseases through careful listening and advanced diagnostic tools. He focuses on achieving the best possible outcomes for conditions affecting the retina and vitreous.
Dr. Castillo completed his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Retina and Vitreous of Texas in Houston and engaged in glaucoma research at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Society of Retina Specialists and is affiliated with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Medical Association, and McLennan County Medical Society.
