About Me
Dr. Ira A. Perszyk is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist focused on medical and surgical glaucoma management and cataract surgery. He helps patients understand what’s causing vision changes and creates treatment plans that are clear, practical, and tailored to each person’s eye health and long-term goals.
He performs both straightforward and complex cataract procedures, advanced glaucoma surgeries, and refractive lens exchange (RLE) for patients seeking lens-based vision correction. Dr. Perszyk values outcomes that patients can feel in everyday life—sharper vision, safer mobility, and greater confidence with work and hobbies.
Dr. Perszyk completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Kentucky and glaucoma fellowship training at the University of South Florida. He earned his medical degree at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences and completed his undergraduate education at the University of Montana.
