Dr. Hugh Wright

Dr. Hugh Emmett Wright is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who provides medical and surgical care for a wide range of eye conditions. He performs cataract surgery and offers minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) for appropriate patients, along with ongoing management of common eye diseases.

He completed his undergraduate studies at the College of Charleston and earned his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. He went on to complete an ophthalmology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science. In his practice, Dr. Wright aims to deliver up-to-date care, treat patients with the respect he would give family, and focus on restoring and improving vision so people can stay active in daily life.
