Dr. Howard Lane

Dr. Howard Lane is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and laser vision correction at Long Island Eye Surgeons. He performs femtosecond laser cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses and offers LASIK and PRK to correct refractive errors. His expertise also includes the treatment of corneal disease.

Dr. Lane completed his medical education at the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel, and a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Laser Refractive Surgery at Rush Medical College. He served as Chief Resident during his ophthalmology residency at New York Medical College. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Lane has contributed to a textbook on cataract and cornea surgery and has presented research at national conferences.
