About Me
Dr. Boldt is an ophthalmologist at University of Iowa Health Care, where he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of eye conditions. His clinical expertise includes eye cancer, melanoma, inherited eye diseases, uveitis, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal disease, and vitreoretinal surgery. He also provides care for tumors of the eye and is a professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.
Dr. Boldt holds a medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. He pursued fellowship training in ultrasound, medical retina, and vitreoretinal surgery at leading institutions. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
