About Me
Dr. Henry E. Wiley is a board-certified ophthalmologist at the National Eye Institute (NEI), where he serves as a staff clinician. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of diseases of the retina and vitreous. Dr. Wiley's clinical expertise includes diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal capillary hemangiomas, uveitis, and other vitreoretinal conditions.
Dr. Wiley is actively involved in clinical research, collaborating with a team of clinicians and scientists at the NEI. He contributes to the design and execution of studies on diabetic retinopathy, AMD, and other retinal diseases. Dr. Wiley completed his residency and fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University and holds an M.D. from Brown University.
