Dr. Hasan Bahrani

Dr. Hasan Bahrani is an ophthalmologist and retina specialist who serves as the medical director of the Bahrani American Eye and Retina Center in Erbil, Iraq. He provides expert care in vitreoretinal surgery and the management of complex retinal conditions.

Dr. Bahrani completed his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical School and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Kansas. He then undertook a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School's Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary and Massachusetts General Hospital, which included specialized training in pediatric retinal diseases. His extensive training and experience allow him to offer advanced surgical and medical retina care. Dr. Bahrani is also active in academic medicine, serving as a peer reviewer for multiple international journals and frequently lecturing at national and international meetings.
